www.cmms.ucf.eduThe Center for Multilingual Multicultural Studies (CMMS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando offers an excellent Intensive English Program throughout the year. In addition, the one-month Summer Program provides advanced conversation opportunities with native speakers of English in and beyond the classroom with field trips to local attractions. On weekends, CMMS students may enjoy field trips to places such as Disney World®, Universal Studio®, the Kennedy Space Center (NASA), or nearby beaches. Students enjoy lively communication skills classes and later spend time with UCF students, area residents, and American families during Conversation Hour or go together with them on local mini-field trips. Mini-field trips potentially include going to the movies, bowling, the beach, shopping, taking a tour, or other activities. Depending upon the group size, various forms of student housing are available, including off-campus housing with UCF students. All students will be housed close to UCF. |
